"Looks like somebody's gettin' some new rims for his Big Wheel! Many thanks to the handsome decision makers at Fox," said Rallo Tubbs.
Airing Sundays (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox, "The Cleveland Show" features the voice talents of Mike Henry, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez, Kevin Michael Richardson, Jason Sudeikis and Seth MacFarlane, as well as Arianna Huffington in a recurring role. The animated series follows everyone's favorite soft-spoken neighbor, Cleveland Brown (Henry), as he settles into married life with his high school sweetheart and their blended family in his hometown of Stoolbend, VA.
In its upcoming second season, Cleveland attempts to prove his athletic prowess, Roberta (Gomez) gets distracted with a new love interest and Rallo (Henry) pals around with three new friends voiced by Grammy Award winners will.i.am and T-Pain and comedy legend Carl Reiner. Additionally, the Brown family hits the road and travels to some exotic locales. The series' star-studded sophomore season will also include guest voice appearances by Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Tony Hawk and cast members from the hit series "Glee." [...]

CS! meldet... Fox has ordered an additional nine episodes of "The Cleveland Show," the No. 1 new scripted series of the fall, bringing the second season of the series to a full 22-episode order, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.
"While I'm excited about this news, I really can't wait until next Wednesday to see an all-new 'Glee,'" said Cleveland Brown.
The series premiere of "The Cleveland Show" was Fox's highest-rated Sunday comedy series debut in over six years among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers. [...]

Fox is so high on "Cleveland," the upcoming spinoff from hit "Family Guy," that it has ordered a second season.
The new 13-episode pickup brings the total order for the show to 35 episodes -- and that's months before the series has even premiered.
The animated comedy, centered on the Cleveland Brown character from "Family Guy," was originally targeted for a debut this spring. But in November, the network decided to push the launch to fall 2009 to give the creative team more time for development and production. At the same time, Fox showed its confidence in the project by picking up another nine episodes, bringing the total order to a full season of 22 episodes.
The new 13-episode pickup is on top of that and is targeted for fall 2010. The move was made to keep the 20th TV-produced animated series in continuous production and avoid shutting down and losing talent and crew. Because of the long lead time in animation, the pickup also ensures that Fox will have fresh episodes for fall 2010.
"Cleveland" hails from co-creators/exec producers by Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry, who voices the title character.
The show's voice cast also includes MacFarlane, Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long, as well as Arianna Huffington in a recurring role.

Though it’s still no further along than it was when it was first rumoured, Variety confirmed today that "Family Guy" creator Seth MccFarlane is indeed working on a feature-film version of the popular FOX toon.
Buried in a story about McFarlane's new financially-pleasing deal with the network is the following:
"Beyond that, MacFarlane said he'd like to continue expanding his Fuzzy Door shingle to include multiple skeins and feature projects. And that includes a long-rumored "Family Guy" movie, which MacFarlane would like to produce in the next few years. There's no firm plan yet, although any feature will likely center on homicidal toddler Stewie, he said."
I'm guessing the success of "The Simpson's Movie" has also had something to do with this...
